Çankaya University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences consists of the departments of Economics, Business Administration, Political Science and International Relations, International Trade and Finance, Public Relations and Advertising, and Management Information Systems.
The Departments of Economics, and Business Administration began education in 1997, the Department of International Trade and Finance began education under the name of International Trade in 1998, the Department of Political Science and International Relations began education in 2001, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising began education in 2017, and the Department of Management Information Systems began education in 2021. The medium of instruction in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising is Turkish, while the medium of instruction in other departments is English.
Our faculty has an experienced academic staff. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, our faculty has a total of 32 faculty members, including 13 professors, 5 associate professors, 6 assistant professors, 2 instructors with doctorate degree, 3 research assistants with doctorate degree, and 2 research assistants.
The Department of Public Relations and Advertising houses the Public Relations and Advertising Workshop (HIRA), which provides practical coursework, and the HİRLAB podcast studio. Additionally, the faculty has a computer classroom equipped with modern equipment, where computer-assisted courses are conducted by departments. General computer classrooms, available to all departments, are also available for computer practice.
Our faculty utilizes modern teaching methods in the presentation of the courses. A strong emphasis is placed on effectively translating theoretical knowledge into practical application. In some specialized courses, we also utilize industry professionals with academic degrees.
